Building dedication honors Airman killed on 9/11
Lt. Col. Chris Clark welcomes Ilse Homer prior to the Operations Building Dedication Oct. 4 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Ms. Homer is Maj. LeRoy W. Homer Jr.'s mother. The wing dedicated the building in honor of Major Homer's dedicated service as a citizen Airmen. Major Homer had been assigned to the 445th Airlift Wing from 1995 to 2000 and died Sept. 11, 2001, while serving as the first officer on United Airlines Flight 93.
