MIT research enhances high-speed computers
Amplitude spectroscopy energy landscape generates a unique "fingerprint" of an artificial atom's energy-level structure. This fingerprint comprises quantum interference patterns that form an energy-landscape in the space of flux and microwave field amplitude. The peaks and valleys of this landscape take the shape of "diamonds," and, like a fingerprint, provide a unique snapshot of the atom's energy-level structure. (Image courtesy of S.O.
