Wilford Hall Airmen aid Hurricane Ike evacuees
Alannah Miranda Garcia is on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, a heart-lung bypass machine, in the Wilford Hall Medical Center neonatal intensive care unit Sept. 9 at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. The baby was transported to Wilford Hall Medical Center by a critical care team Sept. 9 from the Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, in anticipation of Hurricane Ike hitting the Texas coastline.
