NCO classes continue despite Hurricane Gustav
Tech. Sgt. Ruan Howell instructs a class of NCOs Sept 2 at the Officer Training School complex on Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. Sergeant Howell and 16 other staff members and 107 students from the Mathies NCO Academy on Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., continued their training at Maxwell AFB after evacuating Keesler last weekend. Members of Keesler's 81st Training Wing Personnel Accountability Team and 2nd Air Force's Training Response Cell also set up shop on Maxwell over the weekend to account for evacuated personnel and ensure continuation of training.
