In spite of poor living conditions in remote Afghan villages, families live in tight knit communities. Inspired by this, retired Lt. Gen. John Bradley and wife Jan, founders of the Lamia Afghan Foundation, have collected and delivered more than two million pounds of aid for Afghanistan Mid-January 2010. In all, the Bradleys are working on building the seventh school and have collected and delivered more than two million pounds of supplies
