Tech. Sgt. Ashley Barnett runs on a trail at Langley Air Force Base, Va., Sept. 10, 2013. After a traumatic accident, Barnett could not pursue running due to chronic pain. After a period of recovery, she successfully finished her bachelor’s degree and recently resumed running. Barnett is a 1st Operations Support Squadron weather mission services NCO in charge.
