The logo, Happily Homeless, is displayed on the back window of Alison Miller’s pink painted vehicle Jan. 16, 2014, parked at the Keesler Air Force Base camp site, Biloxi, Miss. Miller is the widow of retired Master Sgt. Chuck Dearing who passed away last year from cancer. The couple called themselves the ‘Happily Homeless’ after they sold their house and belongings to travel around the country for four years, staying primarily at base lodgings until the time of his death.
