43rd Airlift Group welcomes new commander
Maj. Gen. Frederick H. Martin, U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center commander, presents the Legion of Merit medal to Col. Daniel H. Tulley, outgoing 43rd Airlift Group commander, during the group’s change of command ceremony on August 5, 2014 at Pope Army Airfield, N.C. During Tulley’s command, the 43rd AG’s “Gryphons” executed over 4,000 Joint Special Operations Command, Army and Air Force contingency missions with a 99 percent departure reliability rate.
