Patriot Warrior 2015

U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Michael Aldrich, from the 46th Chemical Company, scans the ground with a metal detector in search of possible explosives during a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive scenario for Patriot Warrior at Fort McCoy, Wis., June 16, 2015. Aldrich had to clear the area for any explosive devices prior to anyone else entering the area. Patriot Warrior is a joint exercise designed to demonstrate contingency deployment training ranging from bare base buildup to full operational capabilities. Over 6,500 members from U.S. service components including Air Force, Army, and Navy (active duty, Guard, and Reserve) participated alongside British and Canadian forces. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech.
