Medical personnel train for trauma scenarios
Sailors with 2nd Medical Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, assess simulated injuries on a role player, June 23, 2015, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., as part of a field exercise. The patient suffered an arm laceration, which required the corpsmen and doctors to pack the wound and cover it with a pressure bandage. The medical exercise is being conducted in order to familiarize the medical personnel with their capabilities and equipment in an austere environment before future missions.
