Medical personnel train for trauma scenarios
An HH-46E Sea Knight, with Marine Transport Squadron 1, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, lands in a field as part of a medical field exercise, June 24, 2015, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C. The aircraft is nicknamed “Pedro,” to designate it as a search and rescue aircraft. Personnel assigned to Pedro flew into the exercise being conducted by 2nd Medical Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, to help train the medical personnel on how to do medical evacuations.
