Maritime Raid Force Breaches into INTEROP 16-1
Marines with Maritime Raid Force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, brief their final plan before going on a raid Dec. 10, 2015, on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The raid is part of the MRF’s Interoperability Exercise 16-1. INTEROP is the first opportunity the Force Reconnaissance Platoon, Amphibious Reconnaissance Platoon, and the rifle platoon from the MEU's Battalion Landing Team have to combine as the MRF on the 31st MEU.
