Team surveys creatures of Fort Riley
Shawn Stratton, supervisory wildlife biologist with the Directorate of Public Works Environmental Division, holds a lizard during a herpetological survey May 5 at Fort Riley. More than 35 DPW staff members and volunteers from Fort Riley and surrounding communities scoured the installation flipping rocks to count the number of reptiles, amphibians and more during the annual survey.
