Team Air Force athlete Master Sgt. Brian Williams competes in the track and field portion of Department of Defense Warrior Games at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., June 2, 2018. While the Games were primarily focused on the athletes, and their incredible experiences and accomplishments, they also acknowledgde athletes’ family members and/or close friends who have made their own sacrifices to help warrior wounded athletes with their recovery efforts and athletic achievements.
