Preparing for the future fight
A YFQ-44A production representative test vehicle is staged inside a testing chamber in Costa Mesa, Calif., May 1, 2025. Developed by Anduril, the YFQ-44A is one of two test platforms supporting the U.S. Air Force’s Collaborative Combat Aircraft program. It is designed to demonstrate advanced autonomous systems and enable crewed-uncrewed teaming, expanding the capabilities of manned aircraft. These technologies are critical to helping the Joint Force maintain air dominance and operate effectively in highly contested environments. (Courtesy photo)
