The first flight of the Raider will take it from Palmdale to Edwards AFB, where the legacy of excellence will continue with the reactivation of the 420th Flight Test Squadron.”

  • Airmen ‘battle’ in Alpha Warrior final; team set for inter-service showdown

    Launched by the Air Force Services Center in 2017, the Air Force Alpha Warrior program has delivered and installed state-of-the-art fitness apparatus called battle rigs and stations at more than 70 Air Force installations. The multi-station devices strengthen functional fitness, promote ready and resilient Airmen and families, and build morale and camaraderie as units exercise together and encourage each other to complete fitness challenges.

  • Mountain Home AFB Airmen train Chilean airmen, strengthen strategic relationships

    Tech. Sgt. Ian Messer and Tech. Sgt. Edgar Ayala, both 366th Maintenance Squadron aerospace propulsion craftsmen at Mountain Home Air Force Base, recently spent a month-long temporary duty at Cerro Moreno Air Base in Antofagasta, Chile. Their mission was to train the Chilean airmen to save money, time and manpower through hands-on training on jet engine fan blade repairs for the F100-Pratt and Whitney-W-220 jet engines.
