Eielson's last A-10 nestles into new home
Master Sergeants Timothy McIntosh and David Pearson, Staff Sgt. William Neely and Senior Airman Austin Mauch work together to hook up winch cables as the inactive A-10 Thunderbolt II used for ground training is being prepared for loading into a C-5 Galaxy Oct. 6 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The inactivated A-10 was dismantled into six separate parts for transport to Robbins Air Force Base, Ga., to be used as a static display in front of the Museum of Aviation Flight and Technology Center.
