Eielson's last A-10 nestles into new home

Master Sergeants Timothy McIntosh and David Pearson, Staff Sgt. William Neely and Senior Airman Austin Mauch work together to hook up winch cables as the inactive A-10 Thunderbolt II used for ground training is being prepared for loading into a C-5 Galaxy Oct. 6 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The inactivated A-10 was dismantled into six separate parts for transport to Robbins Air Force Base, Ga., to be used as a static display in front of the Museum of Aviation Flight and Technology Center. Sergeants McIntosh and Pearson are assigned to the 354th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, and Sergeant Neely and Airman Mauch are from the 354th Maintenance Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
