3/3/2011 - WASHINGTON (AFNS) -- Air Force officials announced March 3 the deaths of two Airmen as a result of the March 2 shooting at Frankfurt International Airport, Germany.

Killed were:

Senior Airman Nicholas J. Alden , 25, of Williamston, S.C., assigned to the 48th Security Forces Squadron at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England.

Airman 1st Class Zachary R. Cuddeback, 21, of Stanardsville, Va., assigned to the 86th Vehicle Readiness Squadron at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

Im Sorry About The Lose Of The Men. I Know Of Frankfurt. I Us To Live Near That Town. Its So Sad I Feel Like I Lost A Close Friend Also. Just Because This Happend In My Old Location.

From birth, your parents brought you and raised you with love in their hearts. As time flew by you grew and grew and became what you are now. As you left your home to defend what love has given you, you joined another family that has been by your side. You were never left alone and always had a shoulder, a hand and a friend whenever you needed us. It is tragic to see our brothers have fallen but again God has stretched his arm to you to enter a new family. You will always remain in our hearts and our minds. You have done your jobs and may rest now. It's our turn to continue where you left off. May God bless your families and friends.

This was such a complete senseless act. They were so young and who knew getting on the bus that day would be their ultimate sacrifice. I may not have known you but my heart aches for your loss. Rest in peace my fellow comrades...

It looks as though my son will be gong to N.C. to bring these boys home and probably do the services for at least one of them in Anderson S.C. . I know his heart will be breaking as it has before but he considers his job in the Air Force an honor and would have no one else do it. I feel for their families. God speed.
