3/6/2012 10:41:29 AM ET Tom from SC is obviously greatly misinformed on the ANG and AFres process and benefits. Also apparently misinformed on number of deployments and moves the ANG does. I suspect Tom is just a disgruntled AD member that just wants to hate on the ANG. Our mil retirements are not nearly as generous as AD and we cannot even draw the small military pittance we receive until we are 60.

2/21/2012 7:01:13 AM ET Why not abolish the full time guard and AF reserve getting active duty retirements at 20 years. The purpose of the military retirement system was may up for the endless moves every 2 years to all kinds of places some guy does not like it because it is cold in ohio or hot in texas gets out and joins the guardreserve and does light duty for 16 years and gets a active duty retirement. America is going bankrupt because of these kinds of retirements. Look at california and new york for example.
