DOD identifies Air Force casualty

3/29/2012 - WASHINGTON (AFNS) -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of an Airman who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Capt. Francis D. Imlay, 31, of Vacaville, Calif., died March 28 from injuries received in an accident involving an F-15 aircraft near a base in Southwest Asia. He was assigned to the 391st Fighter Squadron, Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho.

What a tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with Capt Imlay's family friends and all the folks in the 391st. Capt Imlay--thanks for your service. God bless your family.

As a former Gunfighter myself I want to take the time and let those who knew Captain. Francis Imlay that my thoughts heart and prayers are with you while you mourn the lose of your loved in this most difficult time. He will never be forgotten.
