5/4/2012 - HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah (AFNS) -- An Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon, assigned to the 388th Fighter Wing, crashed at the Utah Test and Training Range at approximately 8:35 a.m. May 4.

At the time of the accident, there was one person on board. The pilot successfully ejected and is being evaluated by medical personnel.

Emergency response teams from here are responding to the accident.

A board of officers will investigate the accident, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
