Ryan Turonek push a bundle of humanitarian aid items out of a C-130 Hercules aircraft over an island in the Pacific Ocean during Operation Christmas Drop, Dec. 13, 2012. Christmas Drop is an annual effort by Airmen at Yokota Air Base, Japan, and Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. During the operation Airmen deliver donated goods to more than 30,000 islanders in the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. This year, Airmen delivered 115 bundles of goods to 54 islands. Oberman and Turonek are assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron at Yokota AB. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Samuel Morse)
