2/28/2013 - JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas (AFNS) -- The Air Force is accepting nominations for the 2013 USO Service Member of the Year Award, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced today.
This award recognizes specific acts of heroism by enlisted members from each branch of the military who are E-5 or below. The award period is Jan. 1- Dec. 31, 2012.
Organizations and base-level personnel must contact their major command, field operating agency, direct reporting unit or major command equivalent for suspense dates and nomination procedures.
