MAJOR GENERAL JOSEPH B. SOVEY Maj. Gen. Joseph B. Sovey is Director, Capabilities Integration, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.General Sovey was commissioned a second lieutenant through the U.S. Air Force Academy in June 1973. He has been involved in all phases of the acquisition process, to include the research, development, test and evaluation of air, ground and space systems.
