DEBRA K. TUNE

Debra K. Tune, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment and Logistics, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment and Logistics, Washington, D.C.  She acts for and assists in executing the responsibilities of the Assistant Secretary for matters in the formulation, review, and execution of plans, policies, programs, and budgets for installations, energy, environment, safety and occupational health as well as weapon systems logistics support.
 
Mrs. Tune received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1989, and a Master of Public Administration degree in 1997 from Georgia College and State University. She began her civilian career at Robins Air Force Base, Ga. After completing a career development program in the Directorate of Distribution, Mrs. Tune served in various management positions throughout the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center at branch, division and directorate levels. She also served as Deputy Director Logistics at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Prior to her current position, she was Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Logistics, Washington, D.C She was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in August 2000.
