BRIGADIER GENERAL MICHAEL C. DUDZIK

Brig. Gen. Michael C. Dudzik is the mobilization assistant to the Commander, 14th Air Force, Air Forces Strategic-Space, Air Force Space Command, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. Fourteenth Air Force, the historic "Flying Tigers," is responsible for all U.S. Air Force space forces, including missile warning, space control, space-based surveillance, navigation and communications, satellite control, space launch and assigned and attached U.S. Strategic Command space forces.

General Dudzik was commissioned through the four-year ROTC program at the University of Detroit and assigned to the Air Force Institute of Technology Civilian Institute Program for graduate education. He entered active duty in 1977 at the Air Force Foreign Technology Division, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, supporting the development of advanced aircraft avionics, reconnaissance and space systems. He has served in various active-duty and Reserve assignments, including technical intelligence; weapons of mass destruction counterproliferation and nuclear weapons policy development; space system acquisition; and space systems operations. The general commanded a Reserve intelligence detachment and served in Air Staff and Office of the Secretary of Defense staff positions. Prior to assuming his current position, he was the mobilization assistant to the Commander, Space and Missile Systems Center, Air Force Space Command, Los Angeles AFB, Calif.

In his civilian capacity, he is an industry executive with extensive engineering design and development expertise.  He also serves on the advisory boards at the University of Michigan and the University of Central Florida.
