MAJOR GENERAL STEPHEN P. GROSS

 Maj. Gen. Stephen P. Gross is the mobilization assistant to the Chief of Warfighting Integration and Chief Information Officer, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Washington, D.C.

General Gross entered the Air Force in 1975 as a distinguished graduate of the University of Massachusetts ROTC program. He began his career as a communications officer then broadened his experience in aerial port and logistics operations. The general has commanded five units, both active duty and Reserve, in operational and support missions. Additionally, he served as a deputy operations group commander, and was the individual mobilization augmentee to the Director for Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems, U.S. Strategic Command. Prior to his current assignment, he was the mobilization assistant to the Director of C4 Systems at U.S. Pacific Command.
