MAJOR GENERAL JACK W. RAMSAUR II

Maj. Gen. Jack W. Ramsaur II is the mobilization assistant to the Commander, Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.

General Ramsaur was born in Baton Rouge, La. He was commissioned through the ROTC program at Louisiana Tech University. Following the completion of undergraduate pilot training, he was first assigned as a KC-135 pilot with the 71st Air Refueling Squadron at Barksdale AFB, La. He commanded the 970th Associate Airborne Control Squadron at Tinker AFB, Okla., and was Vice Commander of the 916th Air Refueling Wing, Seymour Johnson AFB, N.C. He has previously been assigned as mobilization assistant to the Commander, 19th Air Force; to the Director, Global Operations, U.S. Strategic Command; and to the USSTRATCOM Commander.

In his civilian occupation, he is a pilot with a major commercial parcel service.
