MAJOR GENERAL PETER K. SULLIVAN

Maj. Gen. Peter K. Sullivan is the mobilization assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Washington, D.C.

General Sullivan entered the Air Force in 1969 as a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Reserve Officer Training Corps program, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree in aerospace engineering. After seven years on active duty as a KC-135 pilot, General Sullivan served the Air Force Reserve as an Air Reserve Technician for more than 26 years, retiring from civil service in January 2003. He has since served as a mobilization assistant at Air Mobility Command and the Pentagon. He is a command pilot with more than 7,800 hours in KC-135, KC-10, C-130 and C-5 aircraft. He has commanded two Air Force Reserve groups and four wings. He is a veteran of the Vietnam and Gulf wars.
