BRIGADIER GENERAL DALE TIMOTHY "TIM" WHITE

Brig. Gen. Dale Timothy "Tim" White is mobilization assistant to the Director of Public Affairs, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Washington, D.C. He works with the director to advise and support the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Air Force, as well as other senior leaders, and is responsible for creating and executing strategies to build informed public support for the Air Force. He also provides direction and policy for internal information, community and media relations, security review programs, and human resource management for the Total Force public affairs career field. 

General White entered active duty in 1971 through the ROTC program. Assigned to the Aerospace Audiovisual Service, he was one of the original producers of the film series "Air Force Now." After leaving active duty, he entered the individual mobilization augmentee program, serving in public affairs positions at base, wing, major command and Air Staff levels. Prior to his current assignment, he was the mobilization assistant to the Commander, Air Force Recruiting Service, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas. He has performed numerous special tours, including deployments to Panama and Bosnia.

In his civilian career, he is a broadcast journalist and producer. A former Foreign Service officer, the general has been on the teaching faculty of several universities.
