RORY S. KINNEY

Rory S. Kinney, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Deputy Director, Deputy Chief Information Officer and Distribution Portfolio Manager, Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He is responsible for Department of Defense oversight of joint distribution architecture, proper distribution portfolio system investment, and regulatory and statutory compliance for the command's information technology systems.

Mr. Kinney is a retired Air Force colonel. He was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program and Angelo State University, Texas. Mr. Kinney has held a variety of positions in tactical, strategic and base-level information technology operations, maintenance and plans, including Air Staff and joint assignments. He previously commanded the 1st Combat Camera Squadron, Charleston AFB, S.C. Prior to assuming his current position, he was Chief of Enterprise Architecture Division, Directorate for Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems, USTRANSCOM.
