MAJOR GENERAL STEPHEN A. CLARK

Maj. Gen. Stephen Clark is the Director of Programs, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Requirements, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. He leads a staff of military and civilians in the development, integration, evaluation and analysis of the Air Force Program across the Future Years Defense Plan and maintains the integrity and discipline of the Air Force Corporate Structure process.
 
General Clark was commissioned through the Air Force ROTC program in 1986 from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Staff tours during his 32 years of active duty service include, Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command, chief operations requirements, executive officer to both the AFSOC vice commander and commander, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, chief of SOF contingency plans and programs, senior USSOCOM LNO to the National Counterterrorism Center, and Headquarters AFSOC Director of Plan, Programs, Requirements, and Assessments, Deputy Commanding General Joint Special Operations Command, and Director Force Structure Requirements, Resources and Analysis (J8) USSOCOM. Command assignments include; Commander 4th Special Operations Squadron, Commander CFSOCC CJSOAC, and Commander 27th Special Operations Wing.

General Clark is a command pilot with more than 3,300 hours in 13 aircraft.  He has flown combat missions in Somalia, Bosnia, Haiti, Afghanistan and Iraq.
