DR. KALABHAI B. "RAJU" PATEL

Dr. Kalabhai "Raju" B. Patel is Technical Advisor, Embedded Computer Systems Software Engineering, Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Dr. Patel serves as a national/international authority in embedded computer systems software and information assurance with responsibility for providing advice and guidance to the highest Air Force and government officials as well as nationally important military aerospace weapon system programs.

Dr. Patel started his career as a Research Scientist for the Spindle Top Research Laboratory, Lexington Ky. He has over 24 years of federal service, including 22 years at Wright-Patterson AFB, civilian service with the Army Material Command, and more than ten years of private-industry experience. Dr. Patel's contributions include development of artificial-intelligence technology strategy and policy, guidance and oversight of computer-resource acquisition policies and activities, information assurance and anti-tamper acquisition policy formulation, and support of all weapon system programs within the Aeronautical Systems Center on software related issues. Dr. Patel has served the military as a scientist, researcher, computer resources system engineer, general engineer, and technical expert. Prior to his current position, Dr. Patel served as the Technical Advisor for Weapon System Cyber Security and Software Supply Chain Integrity.
