MAJOR GENERAL JAMES C. JOHNSON

Maj. Gen. James C. Johnson is the Director of the Integrated Resilience Office under the Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower, Personnel and Services, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Arlington, Va. The Integrated Resilience Office is the Air Force office of primary responsibility to provide strategic solutions for optimal well-being and resilience, with special focus on the most effective primary prevention and response to interpersonal and self-directed violence.

General Johnson entered the Air Force through the University of Puget Sound ROTC program in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He has extensive experience in operations, logistics, and human relations, including successfully accomplishing numerous leadership assignments at the squadron, wing, major command, Headquarters Air Force, as well as joint command levels at U.S. Transportation Command, Central Command, Special Operations Command and Africa Command.

The F-22 Raptor's combination of stealth, supercruise, maneuverability, and integrated avionics, coupled with improved supportability, represents an exponential leap in warfighting capabilities.
