MAJOR GENERAL BOYD PARKER

Maj. Gen. Boyd Parker is the Mobilization Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategy, Integration and Requirements, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. Maj. Gen. Parker supports the Deputy Chief of Staff with developing the Air Force strategy and multi-domain operating concepts, integrating through centralized design, and validating and prioritizing operational capabilities-based requirements to achieve national defense objectives and deliver timely and effective capability to the warfighter.

Maj. Gen. Parker received his commission in 1990 from the United States Air Force Academy, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Science. He earned his pilot wings at Williams Air Force Base, Arizona, in 1991 and was assigned to fly the KC-10 Extender. After serving nine years on active-duty Air Force, he joined the Air Force Reserve at Travis AFB, California, in 1999. Maj. Gen. Parker has held command positions at the squadron and group levels. Prior to his current assignment, the general served as Mobilization Assistant to the Commander, Eighteenth Air Force, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Maj. Gen. Parker is a command pilot with more than 5,000 flying hours in the T-38, C-12 and KC-10. In his civilian capacity, Maj. Gen. Parker is a commercial airline pilot.
