BRIGADIER GENERAL CHRISTOPHER E. FINERTY

Brig. Gen. Christopher E. Finerty is the Director, Legislative Liaison, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. The Directorate is the liaison between the Air Force and Congress on all programs, air and space weapons systems and issues such as legislative and constituent inquiries. General Finerty collaborates directly with the House of Representatives and Senate to ensure full authorization of the Air Force’s $165 billion annual budget. General Finerty also prepares the Secretary, Chief of Staff of the Air Force and other senior Air Force leaders for engagements and testimony on Capitol Hill.

General Finerty received his commission from the United States Air Force Academy in 1992. He is a Command Pilot with numerous combat deployments. He has more than 3,300
total flight hours, more than 45 combat missions and is credited with
more than 40 lives saved during peacetime and combat operations.
