Mrs. Dawn Bizub Androsky, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Director of Staff, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The Air Force Reserve Command is one of 10 Air Force major commands with more than 70,000 Reserve Airmen and more than 300 aircraft among three numbered air forces, 34 flying wings, 10 flying groups, a space wing, a cyber wing and an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance wing. The command provides support to each of the other Air Force major commands and to combatant commanders around the globe.
Mrs. Androsky began her career in the Air Force and retired after 25 years of active duty and Reserve service. Her key assignments include Chief, Strategic Air Command Airborne Communications Team responsible for Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile launch operations on the “Looking Glass.” Additionally, she served as Chief, Financial Management for the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Operations, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Management and Comptroller. In the civilian sector, she was Vice President, Cooperative Communications and prior to that Director, Sales Engineering and Marketing at Westinghouse Communications. In 2010, Mrs. Androsky entered federal service and throughout her government career she has served in multiple locations around the globe – leading Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen and civilians in increasing levels of responsibility and scope.
