Brigadier General PARKER H. WRIGHT

Brig. Gen. Parker H. Wright is the Director of Intelligence and Information for North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command, both headquartered at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. In this capacity, he serves as the Senior Intelligence Advisor to the Commander of NORAD and USNORTHCOM and directs all intelligence operations for both commands.

Brig. Gen. Wright commissioned in 1996 as a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He is a career intelligence officer with a variety of operational assignments, including squadron, group, wing and joint commands. Brig. Gen. Wright has deployed in support of air operations over Iraq, Afghanistan and the Balkans. The general’s staff assignments include Headquarters U.S. Air Force, U.S. Air Forces Europe and The Joint Staff. Brig. Gen. Wright holds advanced degrees from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies and was a National Defense Fellow at the Center for a New American Security.

Prior to his current assignment, Brig. Gen. Wright served as the Director, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Operations, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance and Cyber Effects Operations, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia.
