Brigadier General MAURIZIO D. CALABRESE

Brig. Gen. Maurizio D. Calabrese is the Director of Intelligence and Information for North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command, both headquartered at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. In this capacity, he serves as the Senior Intelligence Advisor to the Commander of NORAD and USNORTHCOM and directs all intelligence operations for both commands.

Brig. Gen. Calabrese entered the Air Force as a 1996 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. A career intelligence officer, he has commanded Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance operations at the squadron, group and wing levels supporting U.S. European Command, U.S. Africa Command, U.S Central Command and U.S. Space Command missions. He was an analyst and theater collection manager for U.S. Pacific Command and U.S. Southern Command with deployments to the Middle East supporting operations Southern Watch, Iraqi Freedom, Inherent Resolve and Enduring Sentinel.

Prior to his current assignment, Brig. Gen. Calabrese served as the Deputy Commanding General, Special Operations Joint Task Force-Central, Headquarters, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
