Brig. Gen. Kirsten G. Aguilar is the Director of Military Force Management Policy, Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower, Personnel and Services, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. The directorate is responsible for establishing and overseeing military force management policies that support and retain Air Force personnel across the military lifecycle and foster a diverse and inclusive culture. These policies guide the accession, assignment, evaluation, skills analysis and management, promotion, readiness, retraining, retention, separation and retirement of the Air Force's human capital and ensure Airmen have the necessary experiences and attributes required to compete, deter and win in the high-end fight.
Brig. Gen. Aguilar entered the Air Force in 1997 as a Distinguished Graduate of the University of New Hampshire’s Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program. She has held several command and staff positions at the base, Air Staff and Joint levels. Her command tours include the 647th Force Support Squadron, 21st Mission Support Group, and 673rd Air Base Wing.
Prior to her current position, she commanded the 673rd Air Base Wing at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
