Brig. Gen. Nathan L. Rusin is the Director of Intelligence, United States Space Command, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. In this capacity, he serves as the senior intelligence advisor to the Commander USSPACECOM and directs all intelligence operations for the command.
He received his commission in 1998 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management.
Brig. Gen. Rusin is a career intelligence officer and has commanded at the Squadron, Group, and Wing levels. He has directly supported contingency operations for operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Nomad Shadow, and Inherent Resolve.
Prior to his current position, he served as the Senior Military Assistant to the Under Secretary of War for Policy where he advised the Under Secretary on the full spectrum of security issues affecting U.S. defense policy and military posture.
