Andrea A. Truman

Ms. Andrea A. Truman, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Deputy Director of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection and Nuclear Integration, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Ms. Truman develops and directs policy for depot overhaul, munitions, supply, logistics plans, transportation and packaging methods, logistics data systems, as well as repair and modification of Air Force weapon systems. Ms. Truman plans and coordinates product support and acquisition logistics for all fielded and emerging Air Force weapon systems, as well as establishes guidance for Air Force retail and wholesale supply chain management of spare parts valued at more than $5.8 billion annually and Air Force Weapon Systems Sustainment valued at over $18 billion annually.

Ms. Truman is experienced in life cycle logistics, acquisition program management, resource integration, strategy and workforce development/management. Her assignments include support to mobility, reconnaissance and fighter aircraft. Ms. Truman also served as the Training Development Coordinator for Logistics during the stand-up of Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, as a Logistics Section Chief on the $20.9B Training Systems Acquisition III multiple award contract source selection, and as a Chief of Workforce Development for Logistics. She was selected as a career broadener in Air Force Personnel Center as the Chief of the Logistics Career Field Team, where she oversaw personnel management and logistics development programs for over 43,000 civilian employees across the Air Force. Ms. Truman was then assigned to HQ AFMC/A4/10 as the Chief of Centralized Asset Management, as the Chief of the Resource Integration Division, and detailed as the Acting Deputy Director of HQ AFMC/A4/10. Prior to her current assignment, she served as the Deputy Director of Personnel, Manpower and Services, HQ AFMC/A1, responsible for the force development, management and sustainment of the Command’s 89,000 military and civilian professionals.
