MAJOR GENERAL ROBERT J. SKINNER

Maj. Gen. Robert J. Skinner is the Director, Command, Control, Communications and Cyber (C4) for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. Maj. Gen. Skinner is responsible for C4 across the largest regional combatant command enabling joint and coalition operations. He provides senior leadership and management of Indo-Pacific and global C4 resources to support the headquarters and the forces of four component commands, four sub-unified commands and all joint task forces.

Maj. Gen. Skinner was commissioned through Officer Training School (second honor graduate) in 1989. He has served in various tactical and fixed communications assignments, plans, policy and resource staff work. Maj. Gen. Skinner has commanded at the squadron, group, wing, and Numbered Air Force levels (NAF), and served on the staffs at a NAF, major command headquarters, Headquarters Air Force and the Joint Staff. Prior to assuming his current position, Maj. Gen. Skinner was the Commander, Twenty-Fourth Air Force; Commander, Air Forces Cyber; and Commander, Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (Air Force), Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
