MAJOR GENERAL WILLIAM N. REDDEL III Maj. Gen. William N. Reddel III assumed duties as the Adjutant General, New Hampshire National Guard, on May 20, 2009. General Reddel serves as Military Chief of Staff to the Governor and is the Executive Head of the Adjutant General’s Department. As Adjutant General, he oversees all aspects of the Adjutant General’s Department, which includes Army and Air National Guard and the New Hampshire Veteran’s Cemetery. General Reddel received a commission through the Academy of Military Science in June 1980. In 1981, he graduated from undergraduate pilot training at Reese Air Force Base, Texas, and Combat Crew Training School at Castle AFB, California. He has served in various pilot positions and was Commander of the 157th Aircraft Generation Squadron and the 133rd Air Refueling Squadron. He has accumulated more than 21,000 flying hours operating a variety of military and civilian aircraft.
