PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 21, 2016) Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Carl Bethea directs Gunner's Mate 3rd Class Darwin Mendez to fire a shot line from amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) over to fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187) during an underway replenishment. More than 4,500 Sailors and Marines from Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU) are conducting sustainment training off the coast of Hawaii in preparation for entering the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations.
