General Carl A. Spaatz, the first Chief of Staff of the Air Force, was born in Boyertown, Pa. The Gen. Carl A. Spaatz Memorial Highway was dedicated on June 28, which would have been his birthday. Pa. State Rep. David Maloney (130th District) and Pa. Deputy Adjutant General-Air, Brig. Gen. Michael Regan, Jr. were guest speakers at the event.
