Mentoring is a relationship in which knowledge and skills are shared between members in a way in which everyone benefits. Often a more senior person is mentoring a junior person, but mentorship can happen between any two individuals. Mentoring will help Airmen and Guardians discover their strengths by achieving their full potential through a structured, trusting mentoring relationship.

Fighting Zebra Mussel Invasion
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District
Video by Michael Glasch
May 23, 2019 | 2:30
((Intro))
Since 2015 the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District's Gavins Point Project has been under attack from zebra mussels. UAACe's Mike Glasch shows us how they are fighting off the invasive specises.

((Tag))
The UV system has a 99 percent effective rate in controlling and killing off the zebra mussel population. However, the main source of zebra mussel contamination is through boaters transferring them from one water source to another.
((GFX))
Boaters can help curtail the spread of zebra mussels by:
• Thoroughly inspecting boat and trailer, removing any aquatic weeds and scrape off and throw away any suspected mussels.
• Drain all water from boat and equipment before leaving the lake or pond.
• Do not reuse any live bait that has contacted infested water.
• Thoroughly rinse and dry boats, motors and trailers.
