Mentoring is a relationship in which knowledge and skills are shared between members in a way in which everyone benefits. Often a more senior person is mentoring a junior person, but mentorship can happen between any two individuals. Mentoring will help Airmen and Guardians discover their strengths by achieving their full potential through a structured, trusting mentoring relationship.

Video footage of California Army National Guard providing military presence and additional security at California state capital in Sacramento prior and during the Jan. 20, 2021 inauguration for President Biden. Cal Guard relied on a variance of military occupations — infantrymen, military police, field artillerymen, engineers, etc. — to surround the historic building as well as protect other state and federal facilities throughout California. Biden became the 46th commander in chief. More than a thousand Cal Guardsmen were activated to protect and defend lives, property and rights of all Californians. Part 1 of 2.
