Senior Airman William Fine adjusts the bootstrap accumulator on an A-10 Thunderbolt II during a seven-level inspection at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Aug. 9, 2012. Each time an A-10 accomplishes 500 flying hours, the maintainers put the aircraft through a periodic maintenance phase which lasts approximately four to five days.
